Animal Protective Foundation in Glenville, NY (Schenectady County) was founded in a garage in 1931 by Jesse Carpenter and a group of dedicated volunteers. It has grown into a comprehensive animal shelter that provides much-needed services to its commuinity. Every year, APF serves thousands of animals and their human companions in the New York Capital District.
